I’ve been intrigued by several other folks finance blogs over the past 4 or 5 months and it really has become more of an addiction! I can’t get seem to get enough - I’ll start off at mymoneyblog.com and find myself clicking links and tabs, over to 2millionblog.com and on to consumerismcommentary.com, then back around. There are so many people out there that are looking to do the same thing; it is nice to see a good online community of it -

So my goals with this website are to:

1. Lay it out on the line what I am investing in.
2. Show my monthly updates on the investments.
3. Create good debate on why I’m investing in what I invest in.
4. Use the internet to help me find the best path to be financially secure in my old age.
5. Meet some folks that have constructive advice/ideas for getting where I need to be in 30 years. (I am a lad of 28)
6. Learn from a few folks smarter than I as to where they’re putting money.

I have never taken financial classes, econ, tax, trig. No MBA, CPA, PHD. - I graduated with an obscure degree from a smaller college and never really took finances serious, but now I’ve got a wife and 2 small kids and need to start putting my priorities in line to be where I need to be in the next 30 years…
