If you don’t know where it came from, odds are you’re seeing it from StumbleUpon. Well how do you know who did it and when, wouldn’t you like to thank them? Well, you can like this…

So I’m actually trying something new here with the video because people ask me about tips and tricks quite often and I usually end up sending them a laundry list of “to do” things. I’m a visual person and like to see someone else do it as it helps me learn.

That being said I signed up for a MetaCafe account and filmed how I do it on my computer with Camtasia to show you all how it is done. Please click the play button below to see how I did it (click through to the site to see it in full screen) and I will still put the directions below for those that prefer written directions and because the video is a bit blurry, but the directions should help compliment the video.

1. Take the page in question that you want to see how it scored and enter it in your browser. I will, for example take my Brett Favre post and enter it in a new window.
2. Once the page finishes loading, take off “http://” from the first part of the address, so it reads now: stumbleupon.com/url/myinvestingblog.com -/2008/03/05/will-brett-favres-retirement-make-the-stock-market-take-a-dive/ (click here to see the StumbleUpon page)
3. Hit enter or click the “submit” button.
4. It’ll pop up the StumbleUpon page that shows who has thumbed up and down the page.
5. Thank the people that thumbed it up.
